Extracellular Vesicle and Cytokine Research Platform
Yanhua Bio focuses on stem-cell-derived extracellular vesicle (exosome) research, human immune-cell-derived cytokine formulation development, and GMP-aligned manufacturing workflows for qualified institutional partners.
What Are Extracellular Vesicles (Exosomes)?
Extracellular vesicles (Exosomes) are nano-scale biological particles secreted by cells, playing a critical role in cell-to-cell communication.
Definition
Exosomes are membrane-bound vesicles with a diameter of 30-200nm and density of 1.13-1.21 g/ml, featuring a cup-shaped morphology and double-layer membrane structure. They naturally exist in blood, urine, saliva, breast milk, and cell culture media.
Composition
Exosomes contain source-cell-related proteins, rRNA, and microRNA. They can transport proteins, mRNA, miRNA, lncRNA, circRNA, and even organelles into recipient cells, participating in intercellular communication.
Biological Functions
Exosomes play key roles in immune response, inflammatory reactions, angiogenesis, apoptosis, coagulation, and waste processing. Different cell-derived exosomes contain different RNA and protein components.
Exosome Signaling Pathway
Extracellular Vesicles vs. Traditional Stem Cells
Understanding the key differences between exosome-based therapy and traditional cell therapy.
Traditional Stem Cells
- Structure: Complete cells with membrane and nucleus
- Size: 10-100μm (large)
- Immune rejection: MHC molecules on cell membrane cause rejection
- Tumor risk: Cell nucleus may promote cancer cell growth
- Lung passage: Large cells cannot pass through lung tissue
- Blood-brain barrier: Cannot penetrate
- Genetic material: Contains DNA, carries genetic information
- Source: Varied (autologous, animal serum)
- Storage: Complex requirements
Yanhua Bio Exosomes
- Structure: Not cells — no complete structure, no DNA
- Size: 30-200nm (nano-scale)
- Immune rejection: No MHC molecules — no immune rejection
- Tumor risk: No nucleus — no tumor promotion risk
- Lung passage: Nano-scale particles pass freely
- Blood-brain barrier: Can penetrate and reach neural tissue
- Genetic material: No DNA — only signaling proteins and growth factors
- Source: 100% human-derived (umbilical cord blood + human serum)
- Storage: Stable 2-8°C cold chain
Platform Overview
Our work combines stem-cell-derived extracellular vesicle research, human immune-cell-derived cytokine formulation development, quality-control workflows, and institutional partner support.
Extracellular Vesicles
Nano-scale biological particles involved in cell-to-cell communication and active research across regenerative medicine. Our vesicles are 100% purified from immune stem cells.
Immune Stem Cell Cytokines
Human immune-cell-derived cytokine formulations combining regenerative repair functions with immune T-cell killing capabilities for comprehensive therapeutic potential.
3D Bioreactor Technology
Proprietary 3D全自动智能化微生物反应器 (South China first), capable of simulating growth environments for 260+ disease types with precise parameter control.
Core Technology Advantages
No Immune Rejection
No cell membrane, no MHC molecules, no immune rejection. 100% human-derived ingredients from umbilical cord blood and US-imported human serum.
No Tumor Risk
No cell nucleus, no tumor promotion risk. Nano-scale particles penetrate freely without pulmonary fibrosis concerns.
Blood-Brain Barrier Penetration
Can penetrate blood-brain barrier and act on neural tissue. Effective for neurological conditions including Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.
